Havn Guitars is pleased to offer high-end, hand crafted guitars built to the specifications of the musician. Guitar styles include several models of steel string guitars, electric and lap steel guitars. Havn Guitars offer a rich and balanced voice with appealing design features. Hand building guitars at this scale allows for a lighter, more vibrant sounding instruments.
Quality of sound is the guiding principle of our designs. Each piece of wood used in the building process is chosen specifically to find the balance between bass, mid-range and treble. Special attention is paid to the responsiveness to touch and the clarity of sound of each instrument. We look forward to working closely with our customers to create the instrument that fits the musician.

Electric
Erik has been building and repairing guitars in Canterbury, New Hampshire for more than 23 years. He attended Vermont Instrument School in Post Mills, Vermont in 2003 under the direction of George Morris. Erik is a member of The Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers.
Havn guitars also provides a repair service on guitars ranging from simple set-ups to repairing damaged parts. All repairs require an inspection of the instrument before an estimate can be furnished. Please contact our shop by email or phone or click the link below to contact us. Refrets and set-ups are flat rate work as long as there is no damage to the neck, bridge or head stock. The more severe repairs fall under shop rates and will be estimated per hour.
